OVERVIEW

Chloorkop branch provides FFS with a presence in the very important Gauteng market. offering the FFS brand of speciality and cost effective fit-for-purpose heating fuels to industry in these areas.

PRODUCTS

The Chloorkop plant produces LSO (Low sulphur fuel Oil), R50:50G, IBO, FO150, FO15, FO18, and Light Oil 10 (LO 10). For full specifications and a description of these products, click here.

FEEDSTOCKS

The Chloorkop plant's primary feedstocks are:

Refinery by-products,
Used lubrication oils collected from local industry, and
Synthetic fuel oils

EFFLUENT TREATMENT

The branch has an existing effluent water separation system before disposal to the municipal sewer.

QUALITY CONTROL

The branch is in the process of designing and implementing a Quality Management System. A full wet oil analysis laboratory has been set up and all loads received and despatched from the site are analysed.

ENVIRONMENTAL

This plant has SANS ISO 14001 accreditation for its Environmental Management Systems.
