    • BURNER OPTIMISATION

      Our technicians use the latest combustion analysis tools to assist our customers in ensuring that their combustion appliances are operating optimally.



    • ENERGY SURVEYS

      FFS assists customers in optimising their fuel-consuming processes for maximum energy efficiency.



  • Used Oil Collection

    FFS collect bulk quantities of used and waste oils from customers in most areas of South Africa. This oil is reprocessed and utilised as industrial furnace fuel.
    Oil-X, a subsidiary of FFS, collects used oil from various clients in custom-made tankers



    Waste solvents are received and processed at our Pietermaritzburg plant.

  • Sludge Recovery & Processing

    FFS have been recovering and processing various hydrocarbon sludges for over 25 years. Sludges are recovered, processed and recycled as fuel oils with very high recovery rates. Waste products are disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.



  • Toll Processing

    Our Cape Town and Pietermaritzburg plants have the facilities to recover certain solvents and fuels from contaminated streams on a toll process basis.

  • Effluent Water Processing

    FFS are able to receive oily effluent waters for processing and safe disposal.

  • Marine Slops and De-Bunkering

    FFS receive marine bunker slops from the ports of Richards Bay, Durban and Cape Town. This allows South Africa to honour the Marine Pollution (Marpol) Agreement for the safe disposal of marine slops.
    FFS also has the facilities to accept large de-bunkering volumes that may arise from overloading or salvage operations, at reasonable prices.
